FORGOTTEN BOXCAR

Northeastern North Dakota feels like the middle
of nowhere but the geographic center of North America is around here somewhere.

Not birds everywhere but a few really good ones for the list. It has been in the mid 30s during the day but it can be cold with the wind. I saw SNOW BUNTINGS! I saw 2 SHARP-TAILED GROUSE and a couple of Merlins today also. I also saw a couple of adult Bald Eagles. Yesterday up by the Canadian border I was surprised by a couple of Black-billed Magpie & Common Raven. The list has moved up to 142.
