LONG LAKE IS LOUSY WITH WILSON'S PHALAROPE

Hundreds of them and Western Grebe all over the place. A flock of American Avocet flying over... how cool is that? Groups of Marbled Godwit also. Cliff Swallows filled the sky as well. Gulls, terns and so on.....a very birdy place. Bank Swallows are filling trenches along the pipeline by the way....the pipeliners love that! On the way to Long Lake there is a nesting colony of Double-crested Cormorants right along I-94. There must be a hundred nests! Well, maybe not a hundred but there are alot.

I didn't see Sex and the City, or if I did it is now a repressed memory.
