You have no idea how cool that red-breasted chat is (possibly my favorite bird of the trip), but also how darned hard it was to get a decent shot. It was always moving and through thick vegetation. Same with the Fan-tailed Warbler. I had some luck on those couple. Don't worry Eddie, we'll bird there before long.

I imagined it wasn't easy getting those pictures. I can't wait....although Brian made it sound kind of bad with death marches and dissentary.

What the F? I just tried to comment and it failed. Anyway, now I'm mad. I need my sippy cup.

I only laid out 1 option--known as the "Extreme Weight Loss Option"; you could skip the 2 "drink from any tap" steps, thereby choosing the "Weight Loss and low-risk dysentery option". Or, you could go low impact birding like we did and see tons of cool stuff. El Triunfo, no matter how you cut it, would be a difficult trip...very 'rustic'. But man, it would be AWESOME....going to do it sometime.

I knew I was spelling dysentery wrong...I was just to lazy to look it up. I am assuming it is spelled right now since that is how the doctor professor spelled it.
