Yesterday we went fishing and I heard my first Wood Thrush this spring and also saw Purple Martins. We also caught some Blue Gill and Channel Catfish. Also last night heard a Common Nighthawk and made visual confirmation tonight. I love watching and listening to them!

tried to stop and listen at a couple spots today on my way to n. WV, but the rain had most everything quiet. wood thrush, r.e. vireo, w.t. sparrow, n. parula was really about it (other than the year-round birds). enjoy! bws
