STORMS & BIRDS & SNAKES

A storm rolled in early this morning. I went outside to take the dog out and the wind was really howlin'. The nighthawks however were still flying and "peenting" overhead. I don't imagine they were eating. Maybe they are still displaying and making babies. Seems late but I guess not? The snakes are late too. They are still breeding but still no ovulation.

Those are pretty cool... For snakes anyway. Have you ever heard a nighthawk roar? Mostly only happens out west, but I heard here once. If you had, you'd remember it. It's a breeding thing I think. Why you never call me back?? -RAS
