It made it home from Africa with Michele today none the worse for wear. 3 months in the blowing dirt of the plains of ND did put scratches on the lenses which is very disappointing though. Maybe I can go birding sometime soon! I will keep you posted..... hello ....Bueller....Bueller.....anyone?

Well, my trip to ID allowed me to go screaming past your 261, even though I didn't really get to bird too much. Picked up 33 new birds for the year, putting me at 276. Saw a few I haven't seen in a while--Red Crossbill, Burrowing and Barn Owl, Red-naped Sapsucker, Say's Phoebe, Bushtit (just like saying that one). Fund trip, and caught some big fish too! Brian
